This position provides support to operations through consistent and regular hiring and onboarding of team members.
Responsibilities/ Requirements:
- Supports operations through consistent recruitment, assessment, evaluation, and onboarding of new team members
- Assists with the administration and support of the day-to-day operations of the HR team
- Strives to provide a consistent and exemplary customer service experience during interactions with candidates, employees, and vendors
- Notices onboarding trends and alerts team of possible improvements to the onboarding experience
- Responsible for recruiting, interviewing and onboarding processes
- Partnership with HR office and on-site employee advocate
- Ensure compliance with all company, government, labor, and industry regulations; deliver training and interventions as needed to maintain compliance
- Works closely with payroll on new hire set-up and existing employee information
- Supports HR Projects and Initiatives
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years’ experience in related field
- Experience in manufacturing or construction environment a plus
- Ability to manage multiple projects, assignments in a demanding environment
- Able to demonstrate exceptional judgment, discretion and professional courtesy; ability to work independently
- Must have strong interpersonal skills with all levels of management, staff, outside vendors, contractors and consultants
- Ability to communicate with employees, contractors, management, vendors, consultants, in person, on the phone, and by written communications in a clear straight-forward, and professional manner
- Strong computer skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, Power Point and Outlook
